What difficulties do progressive Christians face? What challenges should the church be addressing? Evening worship with a sermon by Audrey deCoursey (Womaen’s Caucus) and Ken Kline Smeltzer (VOS).


Saturday, November 8

9 a.m. - Noon
“A Grounded Church”
Who is the historical Jesus? How should we be grounded in the Kingdom of God? Plenary session led by Robert Miller, Chair of Christian and Religious Studies at Juniata College and a member of The Jesus Seminar.

Dinner at the Ramada Inn, with evening activities to continue there

How should the church welcome each one into its fold? Evening worship with a sermon by Susan Boyer (Pastor, LaVerne CoB).
