Lindsay Wenger, Jennifer Keeney Scarr, Laura Stone and Denise Kettering Lane shared about collective trauma in the Church of the Brethren: through stories of immigration, conflict, homophobia, natural disaster and more. We were enlivened, moved, challenged and grateful through an evening and a noontime together. The speakers shared with such conviction and wisdom, and some with courageous vulnerability. It was the end of a challenging day of AC business conversation. It was healing to sing, share, pray and listen together.
